Jan J Lategan

Jan J Lategan was a researcher, author, and lecturer on Natural Health. As a scientist, he did well over 12,000 hours worth of research on disease prevention.

Approximately 12 years ago, Jan started experiencing blackouts, even while driving. Four different specialists and four days in hospital for observation did not solve the problem.

He could not drive and was compelled to do his own research and found the reason for his problem within three months. Since then, he never had a blackout. This served as a stimulus for investigation the prevention of other diseases.

Jan had done twelve years of intensive research on preventing disease through lifestyle and natural supplements. Good results were achieved with asthma, memory loss, high blood pressure, migraine headaches, spastic colon, arthritis, prostate problems, restless legs, palpitations, diaphragm rupture, shingles, gout, lupus, sinus, etc.

In February 2016, Jan unfortunately passed away, and his book, Natural Health Tips, is unfortunately no longer in print or available for purchase.

Other books written by the same author are “Weg Met Kwale” & Natuurlike Gesondheidswenke” (both written in 2012).

This book is the product of more than 12,000 hours of research and discusses about 300 adult and child ailments, with the emphasis on prevention. The author was an independent scientific researcher in Natural Health and not sponsored by any pharmaceutical company or pharmacy.

Products he recommends in his books are (in his opinion) the best, and only available at major pharmacies and shops with a section for natural products as well as health shops. Some medical schemes pay for certain supplements from available funds in the savings account. Please check with your pharmacist.

If you are on any prescription medication, you should continue doing so. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor. This book is a guide, not a medical textbook. It’s meant to empower you with knowledge, allowing you to make timely and informed decisions about your own health.

The family of the author accepts no responsibility for any consequences resulting from any treatment or use of supplements or herbs by any person reading this book or recommendations he makes.  They also assume no liability or responsibility for any loss or alleged damage from any information or recommendations in this book.

Supplements are compatible as well as with most prescription medication.  See the notes at the beginning of Chapter 1. Supplements are usually shown in order of importance. Sometimes it is underlined or italicized to emphasize the importance.  Use these at your discretion and start with the most important ones.  If there is no improvement after 2-3 weeks, the others can gradually be introduced.
